Weekend Cooking: Tuna Cakes, Crab Cakes, and Salad

002

Sometimes I just want to eat things in a cake form. I really went for it this weekend making both baked tuna cakes (above) and fried crab cakes (below)! I use canned tuna and crab (to make things more economical) and I’m very happy with the results. I served both with a simple salad and some crispy roasted carrots. Delicious!

    1. Of course! Making a tuna cake is easy. Just take two cans of tuna, combine them with one tablespoon of bbq sauce or spices (oregano, paprika, garlic powder), Add in one egg and fully combine. Now form into balls and flatten them out. Coat them in plain breadcrumbs. Bake them on a pan (on parchment paper) at about 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Let me know how they turn out!
